Scaffolding and gas flue clearance
- Always adhere to the existing gas installation procedure HSEQ 40.97
- Ensure you complete the existing gas installation assessment HSEQ 40.98
- Do not erect or permit the erection of a scaffold until the scaffolders are informed of the assessment results and necessary adaptations
- Never block or cover a gas appliance flue
- Never move an existing flue or plume kit
- If you accidentally damage a flue, report it immediately to the manager
- Stop work and seek advice if you are ever unsure
